I’m Amy.
One day I’ll write more about myself here, but for now the main thing of importance is that I like taking photos.
I’ve had a camera in front of my face since childhood, so that means there are A LOT of photos.
Not all professional, obviously. While there are many pieces from my elementary school aged days that I am rather proud of, it wasn’t until my twenties that I took my portfolio and created a career.
I spent the next 6 years photographing everything from weddings, newborns, boudoir, families and even Iceland - loving all the bonds I created with clients along the way.
In 2022 however, I stepped back from full time portraiture in order to explore creating art in different parts of my life.
Transitioning from Amy Loschiavo Photo to Rising Hollow Creative was my way of incorporating my world into my business, vs incorporating my business into my world - and doing so, I was able to create a whole new life for myself.
While my main medium has always been photography, I’m constantly being inspired by the elements around me in various ways, find ways to incorporate it all into my daily life. It’s in my decor, fashion, even some of my parenting adventures.
